Keeping the horses sweet during corona

So trying to keep my horses sweet during Coronavirus lockdown – don’t want to endlessly drill them in the school and mine are not great to hack so have been sticking to fields and arena and having some fun with them in other ways.

Tried jumping Mardi on the lunge for the first time. Built a barricade beyond the fence so that she turned herself on the circle to avoid me catching her in the teeth after the fence. Worked well and she looked great – we both enjoyed the session. Will do this with the others as well. Amelie has not jumped now for about 4 years so will let me see how she feels!
